People often ask me who influenced me to pick up the guitar. Enter Pappy Jim Rife. Upon his passing in 2004, at 11 years old, I was given his old Ibanez guitar that hangs on my wall to this day. Without him, none of this would be possible. Here’s an old tape recording of Pappy playing some classic country tunes. Although it’s sad to think that we never got the chance to play together, I’m blessed to carry on his legacy of country music.

After the lights, we had to stay true to our first date tradition and hit up @wyndridgefarm for some awesome cider and great food. I remember that night thinking how lucky I felt she was at least sort of interested when she agreed to go to dinner after the lights. Or maybe just hungry? 🤔 😂 Love this annual tradition.

5 years ago, Madison and I went on our first date at Christmas Magic in York. We didn’t know at the time that we were creating an annual tradition that we celebrate to this day. This year, we were able to share the tradition with our niece Maelee, @kleer15 and @trevoryinger13. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year y’all!
